Air Conditioning

Air Conditioning is a process whereby temperature, humidity, air flow & air cleanliness are controlled. SwitchAir provides and installs effective air conditioning cooling and heating systems.

SwitchAir will strategically plan and place air conditioning units within your business server rooms for perfectly effective temperature and humidity control. There are a number of different types of air conditioning units available depending on the size of the building / room you are wanting to install it in and the amount of staff / individuals occupying that room during the course of the day.

Many people are not aware of how an air conditioning system works. Air conditioning systems require an indoor unit, outdoor and copper piping linking the two units.  A fan in the in indoor unit blows the hot air from the room over a heat exchanging coil  - cold refrigerant runs through this coil. The cold refrigerant will then absorb heat from the air and the cooled air is then blown out into the room.

The copper piping is used to transport the warm air from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.  A fan in the outdoor unit releases the warm air from the inside unit into the air outside the building.
